This gallery as with all photography is not only the 3 "C's" (color, contrast, and composition) but the BIG picture as well. When shooting landscapes or panoramas with a lot of sky, and or clouds, I generally like to add a circular polarizer to the lens. I love the depth of color and the added contrasts you can achive. Remember though the best effects of a polarizer occur when shooting at right angles to the sun.

You also have got to be very attentive to the lighting, and time of day. The best results can be achieved when the sun is close to the horizon, which results in the best color without being washed out by an overhead sun.
